This evening at the 2nd Annual Author Read & BookShop, poets take the podium. Everyone is welcome to attend whether you’re a published poet or not, whether you’re a seasoned poet or a newbie.
Open Mic runs from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Where? Milford Recreational Centre, 2288 Highway 2, Milford Station, East Hants, Nova Scotia.
Who will read? Anyone who walks through the door. Poets expected to read are:
Lynn Lapthorne
Linda Atkinson
Mindy Lee George
We also hope to entice a few other authors to read, including John N. Grant, Barbara-Jean Moxsom and Art Burton.
PS: If you’re in the area and want to read a short (say 5 to 10 minutes) chapter of your novel, stop in. This can be a work in progress or a published novel.
Tomorrow, Day 2 of the 2nd Annual Author Read & BookShop takes place from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will only be a Book Shop. Authors will not be reading.
