Children’s Book Event, Elmsdale Library

Jayne Peter’s will launch the second book in her Messy Jessy series “Messy Jessy Gets Active” during a Children’s Book Event. The author will share her experience with writing stories. The editor of the book, Diane Tibert, will discuss the editing side of getting a book published while Diane Lucas, the illustrator for “Messy Jessy Gets Active” will discuss illustrating a book.

Duet of Poetry Launches: Mary Corkery and Deirdre Dwyer

Margo Wheaton and Allan Cooper Poetry Books Launch

Margo Wheaton will launch her new book of poetry The Unlit Path Behind the House. The book, published by McGill-Queen’s University Press, was shortlisted for the Gerald Lampert Memorial Award (League of Canadian Poets) and the J. M. Abraham Poetry Award (East Coast Literary Awards).

New Brunswick poet Allan Cooper will also launch his book at the same event. He will be reading from his new book Everything We’ve Loved Comes Back to Find Us published by Gaspereau Press.
